Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis School will not be able to open its doors for the 2009-2010 school year without your help

Since 1916, Cathedral School has provided quality education to a truly diverse group of students. Located in the Central West End in the cultural heart of St. Louis, its academic reputation and Catholic tradition draw students from across the region - from Illinois to St. Charles County. Small class sizes and a dedicated teaching staff enable graduates of Cathedral School to later excel at St. Louis' top high schools.

Cathedral School has always met its financial obligations through tuition, grants, gifts, and assistance from its parish, but the current global financial crisis has crippled endowments and restricted giving, affecting the archdiocese, the parish and the school. Teacher contracts for next year must be renewed by April 1, and the school must show the parish and the archdiocese that it has raised funds to cover a projected $150,000 budget shortfall by that date.

Cathedral School has enriched the community it serves, the neighborhood it lives in and the families it touches. Please donate generously to Cathedral School. It holds a history and future that are worth saving.
